I just put in a nbrand new server which I have not built that was set up in another domain. I have moved it into my own domain. I have noticed network transfers seem to take a LOT longer than usual but they do work. There are 2 network cards, one is diabled and the other is up and running on 100MB ful Duplex. I can think what could be causing it to be so slow. A copy of a large file to the same server/itself is almost instant.

Okay I think It's fixed. I changed speed and Duplex to autosense and its flying now. Unusual first time I have come across that usually its the other way around.

I have had this happen also. If your switchport is set to auto and you hard code 100MB full on your server you will see this behaviour. Ensure that both your switch port and nic settings are hardcoded at 100Mbps full
