i have an asp site and i use jet 4.0 to access the MS Access database. i wrote and tested it on a windows 2000 pro machine and it was all right. but when i published it on the 2000 server, it was extremely slow. i looked at the performance counter and i think there is no problem regarding processor speed and bandwidth.
so i tried something, written in php, also ms access database but system DSN. it was slow too.
any idea?
