Slow NAMs when booted

Anyone experience slow NAMs on bootup? Like when you hit Feature 983 and it takes a lot longer than normal to access voice mail and stuff like that?

It's a NAM I Copper 8 port. Ports seem to work fine and come up OK.

The coppers originally came with 8MB of IBM memory. Another 8MB would probably speed it up. Be sure to match the same type of memory.
