We have 5.5 sp3 server and a dial on demand 128kb idsn service from demon.

Sending mail is quick, but ive noticed that the incoming mail sits on demons servers for quite a time before being kicked to ours.
Ive changed the connection attempts, retrys etc but havnt been able to speed this up.
As soon as i call demon and request a kick tho the mails arrive instantly...
any ideas on how to speed up our end?

what happens if you set your ISDN to dial say every 15mins to check for mail?? Will that work??
The problem is that the mails aren't kicked in to your server cause your server can only be told if there is mail ready to come in if it is dialed up....where if there is mail in the out-going queue it will dial up straight away to send it out... Jay~
