Slow Machine with Folder Redirection

We're running two facilities with two Domain Controllers. For staff that are usually at building A, folders are redirected to the server in that building, and likewise for building B.

DNS on the comptuers seems to be set up correctly, and general login doesn't take too long. However, opening windows and using the start menu is extremely slow if a typical A user is in building B for the day. I assume that is because of the transfer between buildings. Anyone know any way to speed this up?
