how do you trouble shoot slow logins after you have entered your user id and passwd.. user gets to see the motd .. no automounter is running so its not nfs mounted home dir or nfs prob.. nsswitch.conf points to files only and passwd/shadow files seem ok.. what can it be done to check why the slow logins.. thanks in advance..
