Hi Everyone,

I am already looking a couple of weeks now to a solution of our slow login since our master domain controller died and was rebuild.
That master Domain controller is on a WAN and an average ping time of 400ms.
The license server was on there aswell and has been put back on their.
The master domain controller has changed name.

So we have NFuse and Metaframe XP FR1.
As soon as you open an application it goes through appluying settings and then it sits there for abouth 30 seconds doing nothing and then suddenly the login script pops up and the program launches fine and the 2nd and all launched after that resonds fine.

Can anybody give me some more scenarios to test I already tried setting up a License server on the LAN.

Many thanks

I would suggest checking your DNS.
We had a couple of servers with the wrong DNS config and it would take up to 10 minutes to log in. After we modified the DNS config to the proper configuration, users were logging into the server in a timely manner.

This SP4 issue is when running SP4 on the Citrix Server itself...

Doesn't have to do with the config of the domain controler..
