Just converted my laptop to W2K. Connects fine at work to the Novell Netware 4.11 server.

When at home, I connect to home network running MS Networks. When running under W98, the Netware 2.5 client seemed to recognize there was no server present, and let me log in quickly.
With W2K, the client waits a long time then tells me there is no Novell server, then I can log into network.
How can I set client up to quickly recognize there is no server?

If you are not connecting to a domain serve at home then you should just click the check box at the Netware login screen that says log on to workstation only. The network should work fine, it will not try to log into the Netware server.

Hope this works..
