Hi folks,

I generated a web page layout in photoshop and then jumped to ImageReady and sliced it up and "Save Optimised AS" web page with images. A few little tweaks to the page have resulted in
However, this page is quite slow loading. Can anyone suggest how I can speed this up.

The current size of all of the files necesary to display your web page is 134kb. For such a small webpage that seems excessive.

Because you're using a particular stylised font for your menu's (a font that most users probably won't have) it's necesary for them to be images. The nav bar across the top is an image, and so is all of the dark yellow areas. If you were willing to ditch the stylised font for these areas you could simply set the background color of them using css or html and use simple text links. This would reduce the number of images and speed up the download times.

Hi Dweezel,

Thanks for the suggestion.

I thought about changing the menu from images to text - maybe it's something that I am going to have to do. I just like that font and most of the common fonts are fairly boring.
