Has anyone noticed that launching a report in ron OR design mode or even starting a new report in MS Access has slowed down significantly? I recently applied the latest MS OS & Office updates to all my XP machines and the report designer now takes tens of seconds to open - even in a brand new Access DB. I don't know if there is a causal relationship there - just checking options. And yes ... I have checked for viruses and the systems seem clean.

Slow launch of the Report Designer

If you are using Office 2003, there have been several articles from Woody's indicating that the recently distributed Service Pack 2 for Office 2003 is causing several problems. According to Woody's, to this point Microsoft has been silent on the issues.
One of the features of Service Pack 2 is anti-phishing, and I wonder if this slows things down.
