Slow ESM, no backup

3300 Cxi V8
Since a while ESM is running very slow before accessing configuration menu.
When backup starts, the backup window stays opened and never closes.
I've checked thru serial port and backup seems running ok, but file is never transfered to PC. After that I have to stop ie and ICP is no more accessible until it restarts.
I've tried to perform a dbms check, but it doesn't start.

1/ Is it possible to ftp the backup file so I have a backup up to date ?
2/ Has anyone experienced this problem before ?

I ran into something like this. In my case, FTP would not work either. The processor was being hogged by other processes. Specifically, I had made a mistake in my resilient PRI programming. I was able to make a backup only after rebooting the machine with it disconnected from the network. After reconnecting to the network, things got slow again.

In fact, when I want to make any modification,system says "database on requested ntework element is in use by another application (e.g MAC or CDE);

I have no OPS or application connected to the ICP...
Have you ever seen this message ?
