Drive access seems to be less than 50% as fast as expected. I'm interfacing through Terminal Server/Remote Desktop. We're running Win 2000 Advanced Server.
Both the "C" drive and the SCSI raid have approximately the same (degraded) speed. My ATA 100 drive on a desktop PC is more than 2x as fast when simply copying a 300MB file.
Any clues where the cause may lie? I don't have admin rights or direct physical contact w/the server, but the guy setting it up for me doesn't know what the problem is...
I'd appreciate any straws I could grasp at
