Slow down Networker save

Is it possible to reduce I/O when a Networker save is running? Using savegroup priority is not a solution.
Networker client 7.2:AIX5.3/oracle
The problem occurs when a save is running late, and Oracle need I/O performance;
We accept to slow down a Networker save, to keep good performance for oracle. Unix or Networker parameter?

Not in NW. IF it can, NW uses the network to assure that the tape drives maintain in streaming mode.

The only exit you have is to shutoff hardware compression. However, this will decrease the media capacity as well.
