Hi, i have 2 seperate networks with 10 computers on each, all pcs have unique fixed ip adressed, subnet masks etc... Both netowks have seperate internet connections. The DNS entires for each network are manually configured to look at the correct internet connection. There are two DLink DWL-2000AP+ connecting to two networks together. All pcs can see each other, share files etc...
For some reason every now and again the internet (both ends) gets tied up and cant open web browser send email etc... Then it clears it self and is ok. Only 2 pc's are actually connecting to the internet.
1) Any ideas what might be causing the internet to be slow (BT Have tested lines and we shuld be running 4mb on both lines)
2) Whats the best was to configure the to acces points to only look at each other, not let anyone try and access the network?
Kindest regards,
Steve
