We have around 10 applications that we are developing (most are utilities or for in-house use) including a pair of programs that are "twins" and share a fair amount of object/library code, with different forms. For some reason, one of them takes nearly a minute to compile almost every time, and the screen seems to lock up during this process. This does not happen with the "twin", or with any of our other programs. I don't know any way to see what's wrong, because all the lag happens before our .dpr kicks in. Does anyone have any ideas what's wrong, or how I can find out?

There can be some trash inside your (.cfg or .dsk) project files, that mock up Delphi. Try recreating them, or changing project-options and see what changes you can get.
