Has anyone experienced slow address book performance? Our address book contains about 1500 entries and often takes 5-15 seconds to launch.

Some field offices connected via DSL experience 15-45 second delays.

We are on GW 5.5.41, with about 8 internal domains, and a dozen or more POs. Most run on separate servers.

Any suggestions on either a configuration change or maintenance?

First for the Domains...
How are each of the Domains connecting to each other, TCPIP or UNC path? You can check this under your Link Configuration. If they are connecting UNC, have them connect TCPIP, its MUCH faster!!!

Second, and more importantly, how are your GroupWise clients connecting to the local PostOffice... IPX Mapped Drive, UNC, or TCPIP??? If they ARE NOT configured for TCPIP, THEN CONFIGURE THEM FOR TCPIP!!! The access time difference is remarkably faster!

Good Luck!

Thanks for the tip, I have passed it on to the system administrator to check on.
