Does anyone have a recommendation for a wireless bridge for a slingbox? I'm not into those kind of things and somebody wants to eliminate the cable from their wireless router to the slingbox.

Is this a function of all routers, ones with modified firmware (DD-WRT) or specific products out of the box?

I just want some ideas in terms of what products will work.

I did see this, but most of those products are not available.

So, is that just something that people don't do (since most of the products aren't available) or is there another way??

I just don't seem to find much in GoogleLand.

the way I read that page, was that those where tested and proved to have worked at ONE POINT IN TIME, meaning several years ago when the SlingBox came out, and that NOW, they are not available due to them being out of production...

Most Routers, the ones I have seen FritzBox! and some DLinks, have UPnP settings, and can be configured to what that bridge does...

I'll look into a current router that can be used with the DD-WRT firmware maybe. It doesn't seem that this is something all that common when I see the few number of matches.
