Here's a quick question for the ePO admins out there:

On average, how much time (per week) do you spend performing your respective e500 and ePO tasks/duties? Ya know, the reporting and troubleshooting stuff.

Thanks in advance,
GeoMac

e500 - no admin - leave it alone...
ePO - 10 mins per week... ChrisCW

I think initially setting up EPO properly takes some time. I know I read alot of the PDFs I downloaded from Mcafee while I was setting it up for my environment. I guess it may have taken me a couple of weeks mainly because I have other responsibilities besides AV here.

That being said, I'm glad I took the time. The EPO system I have set up works flawlessly and I rarely have to troubleshoot anything. Monitoring alone, I take maybe a few minutes a day, or spend longer if I want to generate reports.

g'luck...

Like what ChrisCW and mcse924 said, once you've take the time to read (this is pretty helpful) through the documentation and did a bit of experimenting, you should be spending very minimal time in both the e500 and ePO, except for generating reports and the occasional virus outbreaks :)
