Slider/Progress Bar

Hey guys, I don't get much help when i ask for it in most forums, so i would appreciate anything you could give me.

My company is finalizing a marketing flash project that includes a combination of flash and embedded video. One of the things that I am trying to research is how to make a slider control the entire movie so that the viewer can drag to a certain spot on the bar and *everything* will skip to that point.

Could you guys please help me out? I'm not too good with action script by myself...
