Hi
I have been asked to fault find on a Aria 300 Hotel system.
The SLIB2E card in slot 14 (Cab 2) is playing up. I have swapped cards and I am finding that the voltage from each pair is lower than that of the other cards in the system e.g. the dodgy slot is outputting 9V per pair whereas all the other SLIB cards are outputting around 19V per pair. I have tried the card in another slot and it worked fine.
I have:
Changed extension cards.
Changed backplane.
Changed PSU.
Changed BUS card
Isolated extensions from frame (ie no handsets attached)
Swore a lot.
Has anyone come across this and would be able to offer some advice please?
Cheers

Hi,
Wow! You've tried about all I could suggest. How about the amphenol cable. I know it shouldn't make a difference. I would have sworn either the PSU or backplane! Could you try changing them again. I've had one or two instances where the replacement kit was suffering the same faults. I'm sorry I can't offer any more suggestions. You seem to have tried everything. How about a default will it work in default? Maybe the processor is at fault.
Regards
Mark
