Hello,

on my SQL Server I have around 100 connections (users). Almost 60% are sleeping connections ? What are they and how long they will be connected to server before server disconnect them ?

Thanks,
Oliver

You can check Books on line and keyword:sp_who.

If you are the only user of your Server(ex.server at home)Those users came from everytime you login in isqlw(query analyzer). But once you close query analyzer, next time if you login again and execute sp_who,you can only see 7 or 8 users, one user is the isqlw you login all the others are SQL system user, including checkpoint something.

There should be plenty of resources about this topic.
