slave drive hangs up computer. Help!

Hi!
I have a problem. When I'm trying to connect my slave drive, sistem finds it and promts to press F1 to save changes. After that it begins to load windows, but hangs up with black screen. When I'm disconnecting slave- it boots just fine. What may be wrong?

Are you sure that the jumpers on the slave drive are set correctly.
Is your Master set as Master with slave?
