Slackware 10.0 - Mail

Just begun messing around with slackware 10.0 and it would appear as though the standard mail program is missing from the distribution.

Is mail not a standard program on all versions of linux?

Can anyone suggest where I can get the mail program from?

Just a side note if someone can tell me which package this is contained it would be really handy.

I have searched through the slackware pd but no joy, checked on google still nothing mentioned except that there at somepaint was a security issue with /bin/mail.
