Is there a way to test the auto attendant functionality by dialing an extension number internally. Say we have all extensions within the office that have mailboxes assigned. We make a change to the DAT table Press 1 Press 2 Press 3... Now we want to test it and make sure the routing is correct without having to dial in on a CO line as this rings all the extensions first and people keep answering as the auto attendant only picks up after 4 rings. There should be a way to not only listen to the auto attendant message but actually test the keystrokes but dialing the in mail (3999) from any extension asks use to enter the mailbox number. Is there a dial code to get to the auto attendant menu?

Yes, that's what I was afraid of. Probably best to just call out from extension of PBX to cell and then transfer to the In-Mail Pilot.

Thanks for the response.

Loopbacks are relatively simple to setup

10-42 - set number of ports, 1 should be fine for testing, 02 will tell you your trunk number, 03 will tell you your extension port
11-02 - Set extension number for Loopback
14-01 - (Optional) give trunk a name so you know what it does down the track
15-01 - (Optional) give extension a name so you know what it does down the track
22-02 - Set Trunk mode to however you are doing your trunk test, DIL for InMail or VRS for VRS

Follow rest of programming for normal trunk setup for your AA
