Good afternoon.

With the SL1100, are licences needed to add proprietary NEC IP phones to the system?

I have a couple MLT IP phones connected, with no licences showing in the licence report from PC-Pro. I am considering adding an AP20 and some ML440 cordless DECT phones, but I am not sure if I need to consider SIP licences for these?

I just wanted to cost it out before committing to anything, as the phones themselves are quite expensive without considering the licenses too.

Thank you.

None required. There are licenses required for DSP resources and 3rd party SIP devices. DSP's (digital signal processor) are used for IP to TDM conversion - voice paths. If you have PCPro, log in perform a download then click on feature activation to review your licenses.

Good evening.

I’m based in the UK.

Are the ML440 available for the UK market? I’ve asked a couple suppliers who say no DECT phones are available for the SL1100.

I am unsure if to gamble and order a US import, swapping out the PSU for UK types.

I would prefer an integrated solution over an SLT dect.

Kind regards.
