SL1000/SL1100 call forward & MSG setting issue

Hi All, 1st time poster here & NEC phone newbie.

I was working on learning about call forwarding and pushed a few buttons(guessing)on how to change a setting & ended up with a 'MSG >>> 109' on my display just below the date & time along with a rapid blinking red light that I can't figure out how to get back to normal.

We have 4 lines coming in that I'm trying to figure out how to auto-forward to an external line (works when I set the individual phones up for forwarding & calls are transferred to the individual lines but not when one of the 4 trunk lines ring) and now have to fix the MSG issue I created as well.

I haven't been able to figure out how to get the NEC software to work so have been changing settings by phone menus & keys.

Any help is very much appreciated!

I just tried it and light is still blinking with same 'MSG >>> 109' on the display.

Seems like the phone is setup to forward messages to extension 109 but that's not an active extension here. If I call it I get a ringing sound from the calling phone but no answer or voicemail. Maybe that's why it's blinking? Not sure how to change back. Tried the 741 cancel code but nothing there either.

I did enter 773 to cancel the light with that working. Now the phone display says 'camp-on 109'. I entered 770 to cancel camp on. All seems well now.

Good day. My problem in NEC is when i call the local it says, PLEASE WAIT YOUR CALL IS BEEN REROUTED.

How can i disable/fix it?
