Hi All I really need help if someone knows how to set-up or activate voice recording in NECSL1000. I mean how to record your phone conversation and where it stores and download it after. The system is already loaded with hardware CFVMS.

Need to ensure the feature is enabled in COS, the user has a user mailbox and a pre programmed key. Caller will hear a confirmation that the call is being recorded and it will store in the user's mailbox. Pressing the pre programmed key stops the recording, not pause.

For those not proficient with the programming steps for the above.

15-07, find handset in dropdown, assign a key to 78 - In-Skin Conversation Recording
47-02, makesure the said extension has a mailbox assigned, with capacity (default is 20), they will also need a licence for this.
I dont believe there is a COS option to allow/disable in-skin call recording, I have searched through the 20s quickly but couldn't see anything.

When user pushes the key for call recording, both parties will hear a beep, and I believe it continues to beep through the call. Once the call is terminated, the recording is saved to the users voicemail box. You can access this with the handset, or download through WebPro, logging in with user1:1111, clicking the 2nd speaker icon, finding the mailbox, and change the 2nd dropdown to incoming message.

Hi, Daniel Thank you for your information.

Just a quick point here, if you don't have a voicemail license, you can use a group mailbox as a subscriber mailbox. They are assigned in 47-03 and programmed in 47-06 (47-06 is the same as 47-02 but for group mailboxes). There are 32 group mailboxes and (in Australia at least) they are license free.
