Can a VOIP SIP Cordless function as a multi-line cordless phone rather than the NEC cordless. The idea would be get a SIP station license and a Yealink sip cordless and be able to answer at least 2 calls simultaneously? Is it wiser perhaps to get a 2 line cordless instead?

The Yealink W73H can apparently handle two simultaneous calls but you may need two licenses to make that work. I have never used one so can't vouch for their compatibility.
