Not so nice that MSN for chating, but much more better for voice and video transmission.
Skype-out is a plus.
Skype-in is very nice because you carry your fix number anywhere you are and very useful if you want to make telephone tests from external to a PBX.
SMS is a plus but as expensive as with your mobile.
I like it and it free...
