SKIP OPEN FILE

Greetings,

I am using netware 4.11 and arcserveit 6.61. Every nite when I do a back up it seems that it does not back up sometimes thousands of files that it makes as open. The backups run when no one is here and a lot of times the files have not been accessed for quite some time. I have found that if I make a copy of the files or directories and then delete the original and rename the copy to the same name as the original, then it will back them up.

Virus scan software has been disabled.

Any ideas?

backup using lock mode if deny write fails, also, try using the netware agent.
