Hello there. I have a boss who asks: "When we use the "skip flash" button do we know if it still loads the entire flash or does it stop loading and jump to the last page? My question really is -does this make any difference to the end user? Does the stopped flash end up being any smaller?
Here where I work a limit of 50K has been set for homepage flash movies. They also feel many people still do not have Flash and should not have to download it to shop online our website so..........
I have been directed to add a button to all movies which when clicked will stop the movie and go to the last frame. Would that decrease the file size or have any benefit to the user besides the obvious one of allowing them to stop the movie?
I have no clue. Can you help?
