Skip first frames 1

Is there a way that once a movie has loaded once to tell it to start on a different frame from then on? I have a swf on the main page that has a little motion stuff st the beggining, but when people go back to the main page i dont want them to have to watch that everytime .. any suggestions?

if they are getting back via a button, which then reloads the main swf then pass a variable and goto the frame you want skipping the motion stuff.

this is probably the easiest way

at the end of the motion stuff you only want to play once add to frame action

_global.myvar = 1;

then in frame 1 of the movie

if(_global.myvar==1){gotoandplay("myframe&quot};
