Appreciate the strokes.

But, ya know, it's a humbling experience when you post a solution and Geoff, or Tony or Zathras or Dale or or or

(the list goes on.....)

AND...

THEY COME UP WITH A BETTER, TIGHTER, SLICKER, SHORTER solution.

AND...

it makes it worse if you already got a STAR for an inferior, non-expert post

But then, of course, this site is NOT a place for COMPETITION in order to get STARS, although there IS competition, and competition is REALLY GOOD,

Tek-Tips is a site for EXCELLENCE...

and when we encourage EXCELLENCE, we increase the VALUE of these formus for EVERYONE that comes here to benefit!

And, believe me, I benefit OFTEN!

So, I thank you all for the recognition, but, more important, I thank many of you for setting the bar higher and higher for helpfulness and expertise!
