This has got to be a simple answer. I am having the toughest time aligning and sizing my field objects in my report. I'm trying to get exact heights, widths, and x/y coordinates, but Crystal always seems to change them automatically for me and it's driving me insane. For example, if I change a y coordinate, Crystal changes the height of the object automatically which I don't want. There must be some setting that I can turn off, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Could someone please let me know how I can size my objects successfully without worrying about Crystal changing things on me?

Thanks,
Jan

Thanks for the link. It makes me feel better to know there's a problem with Crystal and not with me. I was going crazy.

It turned out that I could not find the 'Snap to Grid' feature to turn it off and I finally found it under File - Options. But even after I turned that off and also use Free Form Placement, I still had the problem that the link you provided discussed. Crystal does change the positions by .01, but I found that I was able to manually move the field a little easier after I set the above two things correctly.
