Hi all;

I have created a dozen thermometer charts displayed side by side in a single worksheet (if anyone knows how to put multiple thermometer style bars into a single chart PLEASE tell me).

Anyway, I am trying to eyeball the width of the verticle bar but it just isn't precise enough. I have been looking for hours within excel help and the net for some formatting method within excel that would allow me to make the width consistant and identical with no luck. I have set the size properties but this gives me a matching size for the overall chart area, not for the single thermometer bar being displayed.

Can anyone give me a suggestion?

Thanks

hi,

it's all in the illusion of separate charts in one.

Lets assume that you have 2 t-charts. Extrapolate as required.

Use a 100% column chart

the example source data above will give you 2 t-charts with a space between equal to the series width IF you set the GAP to 0.
