sizing images 1

is anybody there that can tell me how to size an object
in illustrator in proportion?, when I go to "transform"
pop up to size an object and I enter the height, how do
i get the lenght in proportion? without changing just the
height??

I asked this question recently on another forum and received this advice. (I haven't tried it though).

Type in one of the measurements (after selecting the anchor point on the proxy icon), and use Ctrl-Enter to set the value.
