If this question has been asked before, my apologies but trying to get a handle on how or an idea of hardware needed to run OpenLDAP decently. Is there a general rule of thumb? I realize some of it will depend on how often records will be updated, created, replication and probably some other things. But suppose I wanted to support 500 users. Would a dual core with 3 gig ram do or would that be overkill?
