I have a sub-report which could be from five to fifteen lines high. When it shows up on my report, it is always 15 lines high regardless of the actual number of lines. I've checked Can Shrink in the control on the report, but it doesn't do anything. How can I make it work?
Thanks,
jnix

I always make my subreports as small as possible(less than one line) and set the can grow attribute to Yes. Rather than setting it as big as possible and setting the can shrink attribute to Yes. Try this as see if it helps.

I had the same problem with a report that I was creating that had 4 subreports. Make the subreport as small as possible, with mine you cant even see all of the ruler. Then I set them to Can Grow and Can Shrink.

I also had to play around with the Keep Together properties for all of the subreports and turn them all to No because it was putting one piece of information per sheet. It was really trial and error for me to get all of the places fixed because it had to be changed in both the subreport details, the subreport properties and different places in the main report itself.
