So where does this size (free space) for the M drive really come from anyways?
Here's the drive layout:
C:\ Is the system drive, includes the Exchange program folder AND holds the LOG files. (12GB \ 3Free). and is backed-up nightly.
E:\ holds the priv1 and pub1 files. still under the 16GB limit for now and this drive has plenty of available space.
M: Using explorer shows the same drive space as the system drive. As i read it the M drive is a reflection of the drive holding the .\program files\exchsrvr folders.?
so IF the system drive can be restricted from growing any farther aside from log files (which are cleared nightly); will the store continue to function if we are within the 16GB limits and there is availble space on the drive holding the database files?
,,, am i just freakin out and things will be good as long as there is enough working space on the system drive, and the 16GB limit is not exceeded?? and noone floods the logs with very important wedding pictures.
