Hi

I set size of XP window but when dbaseV for dos populates it the wind size I set is reset to it's default of 80x25.
XP window stays at size I set when window application is used.
Is this a dbase/XP thing I cant overcome..as usual help much appreciated........ Alan 31/3/06

Depending on whether your version supports this command, try Help SET DISPLAY and look at the screen dimensions available for you. You're locked into 80 columns, but have a few options for lines. I usually alternate between 25 or 50 lines as shown below. There are more options but many of them were designed for compatibility with the look and feel of early text-only or B&W monitors:

SET DISPLAY TO VGA25
SET DISPLAY TO VGA43
SET DISPLAY TO VGA50
