Hi,
I do hope you can help me.
On my server, I'm using Symantec Anti Virus Multi-tier protection version 10.0.2.
I have installed the program onto a drive other than the usual C drive (to save space on my rather small C drive).
However, I notice that there are still large parts of the software sitting on my C drive ! - why ??
I'm concerned about "crogram files\common files\symantec shared\virusdefs because its 189MB in size and I can't understand how virus defs can be that big !! I notice the files in it are 20061024.020 which is a whopping 52MB, another called 20061023.025 (the same size) and 20060104.006 (a massive 47MB) and binhub (26MB).
Can you explain why the files are so big and why there's 2 old files there ?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Jay
