When I try to down-load a file -- most recently, a file of only 7 mb. -- I sometimes find that the down-load has been stopped, and the message "size mismatch" appears. Why is that happening, and what can I do to prevent it ?

"Size mismatch" with Opera generally means one of two things:

1) the server on which the file originated erroneously reported the file size (i.e. Server said 7.0 meg, Opera downloaded 6.75 meg...)

or

2) the file is corrupt and you may have to try to download it again.

You should try the file anyway...if it's the first scenario, Opera's only telling you that there was a discrepancy, the file should work fine. If it's the second, try the file first before you re-download. It may be fine...
