size limits in textarea

I've never tested the column limits but I can't imagine making it bigger than the available screen width. As far as rows, again, I'm not sure but I'd venture to say that 255 would be a safe guess.
However, these 2 values only restrict the viewable text area and not the contents. I don't think you could max out the contents of a text area unless you're writing an encyclopedia! There's always a better way...
