Hello forum,
I was wondering if it would be possible in a multi-column report to temporarily change the width of the detail section and change the number of columns to 1 whenever the group header is to be printed...?
Background:
I have a fairly complex multi-column report that I've eventually gotten to come out perfectly with one exception - the group header's width is restricted to the width of the detail section.
The reason why I think it would need to be done this way is that there are many groups which have many groups which have many groups - so subreports would be tedious (and unflexible if groups are added or removed). Page headers do go the width of the page, but there is only so much I can put in there (and not all subgroups need to begin on a new page).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
