Size constant for forms

I have a question re: forms. This has always bugged me. I created several forms all the same size. Sometimes, however, when you open the form, it will maximize and take up the whole screen (part of the screen is, of course, the form and the rest is just grey space.) Is there anyway to make it so that the form stays the same size always and never maximizes?
