I don't know if this is backwards or not, but I'd like to get better at site-to-site vpns without concentrators. Router-to-PIX or Router-to-Router using ipsec. Can anyone tell me which certification/training covers this area?

I've tried to ask cisco directly, but they are telling me the Cisco VPN Specialist, and the description online only mentions use of the concentrator.

Thanks
Joe

This might have changed with the new Pix 7, but the CSPFA covers the Pix and the CCNA basically covers routing.

Based on my experience (CCNA then CSPFA to renew it), I'd say that the CSPFA covers IPSec while the CCNA doesn't (it might now). Pix-Router VPNs are similar enough to Pix-Pix VPNs that learing to set up the Pix should get you "better" at it.

For just site-to-site VPNs the CCNP BCRAN course is all you need.

I have also used the book: CISCO Secure Virtual Private Networks

MCP,CCA,CCNA, Net+, Half CCNP...
