I want to setup site-to-site vpn using checkpoint NG AI r55 on a Nokia IP380 box and Vpn edge appliance from checkpoint. I want to use this in a MEP environment - meaning I will have two vpn gateways in chicago and Newark where vpn-edge devices (external partners ) will be connecting. So if chicago fails than Newark can take over and vice versa.
My question is how do u configure this in a MEP environment
1. In order for this to work my chicago and newark has to be managed by same management server??? or can it be managed by two different management servers?
2. How do u implement MEP in this scenario?
3. The external VPN device vpn-edge appliance has to be managed by same management server ???
