Hello,

My web site is 750 px wide, centered in the browser window. It has a white border around the whole thing.

the left side has a flash movie containing links.

I want the links to stay fixed, while content loads in the right side.

I tried using inline frames, but the problem was that when the page gets longer, the white border doesn't get longer and display more data. Inline frames have a fixed height, so the data scrolls within that window.

Am I beating a dead horse, or is this possible to do?

is the efect you get with the iframe not the one you wish to achive? what would you like to do, if that is not it?

well, the problem with the iframe is that, let's say, the links are an iframe A and the right side is an iframe B.

now when i click the links, i target the data to appear in iframe B. but how do I get the white border around my site to work? the border is around iframe A & B - together.

(if the iframe is 600 px in height, then if the iframe b data is longer than that, it will scroll inside a 600 high window, even though there is more browser space. I want the the entire bordered site to get longer.)

(lets say the iframe is 100% height, then if there is less data in iframe B, the border will be messed up still.)

this is difficult to explain...sorry.

ok, i understand. this is only one option i can think of. try this:

ah, never mind. when i was getting that link i remembered that IE dosen't let you put flash in floating layers. maybe you should just settle for the iframe if no one comes up with a solution...
