Hi folks,

I am looking for a site search solution. I want to have a program where the user can input a string to search for the this program will spit out a list of pages on my site matching the query. I know that there are a lot of PERL scripts out there.

However, all of the product pages on my site are dynamic i.e. all product information is stored in a database and pulled when the user requests the information. Hence, if the user searches for a particular product - there is no product page to find as such as there is just an ASP program that generates the page.

Is there a way around this??? All advice appreciated. Mighty :)

Why not just do a query on the database for all matches to the search term, display them on the page as a link to the page where they would normally be displayed. Saturday 12.00

That would work OK for the dynamic pages. However, there will be some static pages which may have a reference to a product and I want to be able to search them also. Mighty :)
