Hi
I would appreciate members input on a site I'm about to make revisions on. It's full implementation is seen through Macintosh/IE5.

Thanks,
sundemon

I am on a work machine and cannot change the display resolution. I would dump the requirement of viewing in certain resolution. Sorry, couldn't access the site! DeZiner

Hi,

Few things,

1. Don't resize the browser, it always drives me nuts when people do that. Allow the user to reshape their browser as they wish.

2. And where is my scroll bar??

3.The main image was very slow to load and I have a fast connection, maybe display a "loading" message?

4. On the info page, maybe make your contact details a little more prominent?

5. when the links window opened some of it was hidden, perhaps resize it to more of a square shape so it will easity fit center screen.

6. I didnt notice any copyright info?

Apart from that I really liked the site, great colour scheme, very professional looking! Fantastic photos!

thanks deZiner, mThomas, and cian for taking the time to check it out.
A couple of understandable complaints about forcing the screen resolution/browser size. My client wanted his images to be a certain size, and that led to those decisions. His target audience was graphics professionals, and assumed a 1024x768 screen res as a standard. Smaller, and the navigation is off screen.
Also, while impossible to control completely, we wanted to do what we could to preserve the alternating horizontal and vertical frame format of the pages, with only a single scroll arrow appearing on a given scrollable frame.
Forcing the browser size only occurs on the splash page, which is only accessible when you first enter the site. There after, you can resize to taste without further script intervention.
Thanks for pointing out that the links window is (I assume) offscreen to the right. I work on Mac, and don't have routine access to PCs for testing. I'll script a workaround for that.

cian, I'm in the process of working through your site. Very nice scripting, page layout, etc. I'll let you know when I'm finished taking it in. I (unfortunately) am not on a fast connection.

Hi sundemon, thanks, any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I designed it simply as an exercise in CSS layout. I haven't tidied the code yet either!
I've given up on version 4 browsers ('cos I can) and i'm curious to know how it holds up on different browsers and resolutions.

Btw, your Links window was just hidden at the bottom and it was positioned at the far right, I always think its best center screen. Not a big issue though.

Lovely site though!

Without scrollbars, there is no way to get to the bottom of the page. At my screen resolution I can't get to any links except for the title "WEIL" link that takes me to the index page. I can only view the upper 2/3s of the photos.

A little popup warned me to change my monitor resolution, but it seems like that is too much to ask to look at some photographs.

Basically its set up to be viewed by a certain segment of the cyber-public and is otherwise not accessible. If that is what the client wants.... well, it has some beautiful photos.

I think the site is great.. as well as the work.
